Suitcase formed via the Starr Project: a Houston, Texas collaboration which assembled bands by random drawing of five members. Each group had a month to write songs and create a show for a battle of the bands against three other acts. Suitcase won their round hosted at the Proletariat, narrowly defeating The Gaze. Suitcase was mentioned as a "Squirrel Nut Zipper's wet dream" by the Houston Press (July 2005). Although each member has their own projects (whether its working with other bands, studies or performance projects) we've decided to keep on going. We've dug up some interesting snuff songs from the 20's and written a few more so keep checking back with us. we thank you for stopping by... ---
