BRYOPHYLLUM TUBIFLORA

(or chandelier plant) is a succulent originally native to madagascar.

plants may reach 3ft tall with leaves up to 6in long.  young plantlets are formed along notches on leaf tips.

care:  full sun to bright interior light with a well drained soil (water less in winter). a great plant for kids!

by producing plantlets, they can multiply quickly.  when adult plants get taller they may become delicate, spindly or top heavy. an undisturbed container and good sunlight prevent this and neighboring plants tend to support each other. 

blooms: clusters of 1 inch flowers form in winter
